What you should know

Let us be clear: this oil is not our extra virgin. It is a second press oil, obtained in March 2026 from the olives of our 2025-2026 harvest, which were first pressed in November 2025.

The olives are the same: Moroccan Picholine, Haouzia and Menara, picked by hand in our family olive groves in El Gara, in the Chaouïa. But a second pressing gives a less aromatic oil than a first pressing, and this batch is older than our oil from the current harvest.

Its appeal is the price: 45 to 35 MAD per litre depending on quantity, ordering 4 to 20 bidons of 5 L, for families, restaurants and grocers who cook a lot. For salads, bread or a finishing drizzle, choose our first-press extra virgin oil, from 65 MAD per litre.

Tasting notes

  • Less aromatic than a first-press oil
  • Batch pressed in March 2026, older than our oil from the current harvest
  • Made for everyday cooking in large quantities

Questions

Your questions answered

What is second press olive oil?

It is the oil obtained from a second pressing of the olives, after the first pressing that gives extra virgin oil. It is less aromatic. Ours was pressed in March 2026, from the olives of our 2025-2026 harvest.

Is it an extra virgin olive oil?

No. We sell it neither as extra virgin nor as virgin: its laboratory analysis is in progress. If you are looking for an extra virgin oil, choose our first-press oil, from 65 MAD per litre.

How does the tiered price work?

The price per litre goes down with the number of second press bidons in your order, from 4 to 20 bidons: 45 to 35 MAD per litre. Above 20 bidons, ask us for a quote on WhatsApp.

What is it best used for?

Everyday cooking in large quantities, when price matters more than aroma: large families, restaurants, grocers. For eating the oil raw, choose our extra virgin.

How does delivery work?

In Casablanca, delivery costs 50 MAD, from our distribution point in Maârif. Outside Casablanca, contact us to arrange transport.
